If you find yourself in the unfortunate place of needing a counsellor for whatever reason there's a lady out there who makes the whole process as stress free and actually enjoyable. In 2019 I found myself in this position after going through one of the darkest periods of my life just being released from prison. I was put in touch with Sandi Clapperton and I'm forever grateful.
I was struggling with a crystal meth addiction, legal battles and a childhood trauma that I'm sure led me to where I found myself. From the very first session the ever so sceptical me was put at ease with Sandi's warm non-judgemental nature.
She actually listens to what you’re saying and gives the correct advice and helpful solutions to help with your unique problems. She was an absolute god send to me and I owe her more than she will ever know. She provided me with a safe place where for the first time in my life I confided in someone " something I've never done before " and told my story for the very first time.
I even remember having a tear in my eye and felt comfortable for once having someone see that ,that's how comfortable Sandi can make you feel, I remember one session where she obviously picked up on the fact I wanted to get some things off my chest and she let me speak without interruption for the whole session and we discussed it in the next session and it was exactly what I needed.
I'm fairly sure I won't be needing a counsellor again because Sandi helped me understand and deal with the underlying problems I had but if I ever do, it’s a no brainer as to whom I will be seeing. I'm now drug free I have regained my fire protection career and I've once again joined the ranks of the mortgaged man. She is a special lady with a real talent spearheaded by empathy and compassion for her fellow man.
